Service & Repairs

We offer a global service network that is unique in the strapping industry. More than 100 Mosca service technicians and over 30 additional specialists employed by our subsidiaries and partners all over the world ensure that our strapping machines run efficiently.

Service network in UK, Ireland & Northern Europe

Service operations are coordinated centrally from our HUB headquarters in Nottingham, England. Our comprehensive team of Mosca trained engineers covers UK, Ireland, Norway, Finland and Sweden. Our standard service and after-care working hours are 08:00 to 17:00 (GMT) Monday to Friday.

Quick help in an emergency

Our engineering network ensures quick response times when needed. If necessary, you can contact our service team outside of normal business hours via our emergency out-of-hours facility, which operates 24 hours per day, 364 days per year and covers evenings, weekends plus Bank and Public Holidays (excludes Christmas day). 

Our UK team can despatch consumable products such as plastic strap, stretch film and strapping machine spare parts and arrange for you to have a telephone consultation with one of our engineers. We can also schedule an engineer to attend your site on a priority basis on the next working day* (*UK only, cannot be guaranteed in Northern Europe).

PDF copies of machine manuals can be supplied as part of the Out-of-Hours facility. Additional charges may apply for this service.

Equipment and Qualifications

Our field technicians can be immediately recognized by their Mosca uniforms. They come equipped with a defined set of standard replacement parts.

We train our technicians both in-house and externally for their work. For example, they are certified by TÜV as a known consignor and are fully qualified for testing mobile electrical work equipment in compliance with VDE 0701-0702 and according to German Social Accident Insurance Regulation 3 (BGVA3). Our technicians are well qualified to react to the demands resulting from rapid technical development and our growing product portfolio thanks to our training and education concept, which we regularly adapt.

Technical support and remote maintenance

Our Remote Services allow us to help you as quickly as possible and ensure you direct access to the expertise of Mosca. You can always rely on fast support – our telephone support for technical assistance is available around the clock.

In addition, we provide you our Remote Maintenance: in case of a malfunction our experts can connect to the strapping machine via VPN. The connection allows them to quickly identify the problem and make a diagnosis. The control software, which is integrated in your Mosca machine, provides us a whole raft of service functions to solve the problem in many cases remotely. This saves costs for on-site services and increases your machine availability through instant reaction times.
