Changing the future together - Project competition 2022
Mosca, Odenwald Treuhand, Malerei Spohn and Autohaus Käsmann awarded more than 30 clubs
This year, everything revolved around the motto “Your project for the environment”: Mosca GmbH, together with Autohaus Käsmann, Odenwald Treuhand and Malerbetrieb Spohn, launched a sustainability competition for non-profit clubs for the first time. Numerous clubs from the region around Waldbrunn submitted their creative projects contributing to environmental protection in their region. “With our competition, we wanted to honor the small regional clubs whose environmental commitment is often overlooked,” explained Simone Mosca, Managing Director of Mosca GmbH. In total, the four companies provided over 25,000 € in the form of vouchers from JOMA. Each of the clubs received a price voucher worth 800 € at the award ceremony.
Mosca and the other initiators invited the representatives of the participating clubs to the award ceremony on the company premises in Waldbrunn. “We are happy about the active participation and the resourceful projects that were presented today,” said Christiane Spohn, Managing Director of Spohn GmbH. Klemens Käsmann, Managing Director of Autohaus Käsmann GmbH, added: “It was important to us to also support projects that have been running in the region for years, but have not yet been recognized or promoted.” Most of the projects involved collecting waste, creating habitat for bees and insects or improving the environmental balance through energy-saving measures like use of LED lamps for lighting their club houses or playgrounds.
