New Mosca subsidiary in France attends All4Pack

26.11.2018 - 29.11.2018

Mosca Emballage Sasu, a newly founded Mosca subsidiary, will present itself to the general public for the first time at the All4Pack trade show from 26 to 29 November. Along with the new company, the focus will be on a product portfolio ranging from entry-level machines to fully-automated packaging lines. The EVOLUTION SoniXs MS-6 KR-ZV, Mosca's newest machine, is specially developed for palletized goods. CE certified at the factory, the UCB reliably straps corrugated board products. Mosca’s EVOLUTION SoniXs TR-6 exemplifies the networking capability of packaging machines. It can be easily integrated into automated production lines and operated from a control station. Representatives from the company's service & strapping materials department will also be available at exhibition site: Stand 6 F071.

Mosca Emballage Sasu was founded in June 2018 as a subsidiary of Mosca GmbH. A local market presence will enable Mosca to better serve customers based in France. French sales and service staff help the company respond faster to customer requests.

Mosca Emballage Sasu will kick off at the All4Pack in Paris with the company's brand-new pallet strapping machine, the EVOLUTION SoniXs MS-6 KR-ZV. In addition to pallets, the machine is suitable for dollies and wire mesh containers. Thanks to low strap tension (450 Newton) and force-limited traversing units, the machine is CE-certified ex factory without a safety enclosure. This makes it less expensive to purchase. Operators do not have to leave a safety zone after inserting a package. The side position of the sealing unit on the EVOLUTION SoniXs MS-6 KR-ZV helps keep debris from falling into the unit itself. In combination with the movable tongue, the positioning of the sealing unit enables the machine to handle low-height packages or floor-standing pallets.

Further, Mosca is showcasing the KZV-111 for vertical pallet strapping. This machine safely straps bulky or heavily loaded pallets in conveyor heights from 0 to 650 mm. The movable sealing unit allows operators to flexibly strap products with varying heights. The KZV-111 can be integrated into production lines and program-controlled.

For major appliances and bulky products

Visitors to the company's exhibition stand can see a Mosca EVOLUTION SoniXs MS-6-H horizontal strapping machine in action. The movable strap frame ensures secure strapping in up to 10 different positions on high and bulky packages. Capable of 180 triple strapping cycles per hour, the EVOLUTION SoniXs MS-6-H is well-equipped to handle large-volume runs.

For corrugated products

Representatives from the corrugated industry will experience the UCB strapping machine, which is ideal for complex corrugated products such as four-point or six-point folding cartons. Operators can align these on up to six sides and perform up to 32 single or 20 double strapping cycles per minute. The SoniXs ultrasonic sealing unit and electromechanical components help ensure high machine availability. An optional double strap dispenser enables faster strap changes and increases efficiency of the CE-certified (ex factory) machine.

All-rounders for versatile applications

Mosca is presenting two real all-rounders at the All4Pack show: The RO-M Fusion and the EVOLUTION SoniXs TR-6. An automated table model, the RO-M Fusion is ideal for companies that occasionally need to strap compact bundles and boxes. The EVOLUTION SoniXs TR-6 impresses with its networking potential: open interfaces enable the machine to be integrated into fully automatic lines. This model is suitable for Industry 4.0 applications, including the automatic RFID tag scanning process demonstrated at the trade show.

Mosca supplements its wide-ranging machine portfolio with in-house production of strapping materials. In addition to PP and PET straps, Mosca produces straps made from PLA, a biodegradable plastic. The company's service units, which are grouped together under the ONE Service label, ensure that technicians can quickly be on site to handle any problems. These specialists also support customers by providing training and workshops to ensure they benefit from the full potential of their strapping machines.
