Quality assurance & sustainable solutions through NIR spectroscopy
The mobile NIR spectroscopy solution from trinamiX enables us to carry out reliable quality control - from incoming goods to ongoing production. Incoming PET can be quickly checked for impurities such as label residues or paper scraps using spot checks. This allows unusable batches to be identified and sorted out at an early stage before they enter the production process. Spot checks are also used during production: we use them to ensure that the PP produced is clearly NIR detectable and therefore meets the requirements for recyclability. The ease of use of the mobile solution allows our employees to carry out checks flexibly and without interrupting processes. In addition, the application supports compliance with regulatory requirements, such as the EU Packaging OrdinancePPWR), which stipulates a post-consumer recycled content of at least 35% by 2035.
