Our customer was looking for a fully automatic winding solution - and found the Saturn S2 at Mosca .
The Saturn S2 is a fully automatic rotary ring stretchStretch Wrapping Machines for palletized loads. It is produced in Spain by our subsidiary Movitec.
Facts about the Saturn S2
- The film is automatically applied to the pallet.
- By turning the ring around the stationary pallet and simultaneously raising and lowering the film carriage, the pallet is evenly wrapped.
- Once the wrapping process is complete, the film is automatically cut off and pressed on.
- A film clamp secures the stretch film for the next packaging process.
- The additional cover film ensures that products are protected from dirt, water and dust not only from the side but also from above.
- The machine uses various wrapping programs to adapt the parameters to the specific product and load security, thus minimizing damage and possible returns.
- The Saturn S2 wraps up to 45 pallets per hour.
