Publication of our third sustainability report

Once again this year, we have prepared and published a sustainability report based on the Global Reporting Initiative standard. 

Individual elements, such as the double materiality analysis, already take into account the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) for reporting in accordance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive(CSRD). This year's report on the 2023 financial year mainly includes the sustainability activities of the German sites, Waldbrunn and Muckental, but also international initiatives and - as an outlook - important developments in 2024.

 

After we sharpened and specified the status quo in our first report and added additional points to the targets in the second report, the targets for this report were validated by experts. In addition, further Scope 3 categories were added to the carbon footprint and significant adjustments were made to improve the carbon footprint calculation.
