Mosca GmbH has reached another milestone in its digital transformation: since October 1, the family-owned company from the Odenwald has been an official member of the IPAI, an initiative to promote artificial intelligence (AI) in business.

By joining, Mosca is underlining its commitment to technological innovation. As a member of the IPAI ( Innovation Park Artificial Intelligence), the company gains access to a network of experts and research institutions. The campus in Heilbronn is set to become the global center for applied artificial intelligence in the coming years. Mosca will collaborate with other leading organizations to research new AI applications, share best practices and drive the development of pioneering solutions. The aim is to strengthen Mosca 's competitiveness and establish AI applications in the company's processes.

"We are delighted to be part of IPAI ," emphasizes Gregor Karmowski, Group Vice President IT & Digitalization. "Artificial intelligence offers enormous potential for our industry. By working together with other innovative companies, we can jointly develop new solutions and provide even better support for our customers and internal services."

Goal: Pioneer in the industry-specific use of AI

Mosca wants to become a pioneer in the use of artificial intelligence in the industry. The integration of AI in products and processes opens up new possibilities for optimizing complex workflows. The first AI applications in products are already in the test phase. Mosca 's technological expertise is an important success factor. In addition to innovation in products, the technology should also contribute to increasing competitiveness in all company processes. This is why the machine manufacturer is promoting the use of AI in all areas of the company.

Mosca has already implemented its first successful AI projects - for example in collaboration with "One Thousand". The focus here was on optimizing set-up times in production. The idea was to use artificial intelligence to generate an optimized order sequence. In the long term, this will not only improve efficiency and productivity, but also support process automation. For Mosca , this step means improving internal processes and strengthening its own competitive advantage.

In future, the company plans to further expand the use of AI. In the area of sales, for example, automated quotation generation for Strap and spare parts is to be used. Mosca will regularly report on its participation in IPAI and current projects on its website, in social media and in the customer magazine.
