A legacy of family, growth and responsibility in the industry
The Mosca Group is managed by the second generation, including CEO Timo Mosca . He continues the tradition of German engineering, paired with a "people-first" philosophy. Timo Mosca is convinced that Mosca not only manufactures products, but also shapes a future for customers, employees and the community.
"Malaysia has already been a strategic milestone on the path to internationalization for our family business in the past. With today's opening of our new production facility, we are building on this history - and sending a strong signal for sustainable growth, partnership-based cooperation and entrepreneurial vision across borders," explained Timo Mosca, Corporate CEO Mosca Group.
Witold Nowak, Director of MGM, looked back on the development of the site: "From its humble beginnings in 2009 to today's modern facility, the company's journey has been impressive. However, it is the employees who define Mosca . The company continuously invests in their development to build skills and empower them with responsibility and confidence. The longevity of many employees is clear evidence of Mosca's long-term commitment and our reputation as a highly valued employer."
Investments in Malaysia and in people
Mosca stands out as a traditional family business that puts people at the center of its activities. From the very beginning, MGM has prioritized the recruitment of Malaysian talent at all levels, from assembly to senior management. Special attention is given to individuals with limited educational opportunities in Johor, who are offered promising career paths.
Employees have the opportunity for continuous professional development and many of them receive training at the headquarters in Germany. They are given the same tools, opportunities and trust as employees at other locations around the world. Witold Nowak added that the company is not just a foreign investor, but an integral part of the Johor community.
This commitment is further formalized through Mosca's initiative to partner with local educational institutions. The aim is to create technical vocational programs that will build a long-term talent pipeline.
"Nonstop Performance, Nonstop Responsibility, Nonstop Progress"
With the commissioning of this new production site, MGM continues to embody Mosca's corporate philosophy: Nonstop Performance, Nonstop Responsibility and Nonstop Progress. The company strives to become a one-stop shop for strapping technology and technical excellence in Asia to improve customer satisfaction across the region.
The new plant strengthens MGM's position as a driver of innovation in packaging technology and provides important impetus for the future of the industry.
