The management team has strategically aligned the company toward end-of-line solutions. Building on this foundation, Mosca expanded Mosca core business in strapping technologies to include solutions that integrate machines, conveyors, material handling systems, Stretch Wrapping Machines connectivity to higher-level systems. At the same time, top management invested in control software as well as in production, logistics, and development infrastructure.

Education Plus Environmental Protection

In manufacturing, management introduced a new process that calculates the sequence of production orders based on specified criteria, rather than planning them manually. This shortens setup times, increases productivity, and improves on-time delivery. In addition, top management had a warehouse built with largely automated control of material movements and inventory. This significantly reduced the amount of floor space required and improved ergonomics for employees. Another key component is training: Mosca on developing its own young talent and combines technical apprenticeships with projects designed to promote environmental stewardship, such as building birdhouses from reclaimed wood.

Digital ID

At the company’s in-house TechCenter , customers TechCenter subject packaged pallets to various loads and receive test reports. This data is incorporated into a digital certificate for each loading unit. A QR code attached to the product allows all safety-related parameters and the environmental footprint to be retrieved from the cloud. Mosca also uses automated Mosca for its systems. By analyzing real-time data, the system independently identifies maintenance needs and triggers corresponding service tickets without manual intervention. This reduces downtime and increases system availability.
