Proof of load securing that can be viewed directly on the product: With its new Digital Load Pass, Mosca is presenting itself as a pioneer for digital sustainability solutions at LogiMAT 2025. In Hall 6, Stand 6D21, the company will also be providing insights into the breadth of its product portfolio - from the new manual strapping tool to fully automatic strapping machines and theSaturn S6 Stretch Wrapping Machines .
All safety and sustainability-relevant information on transport security in a QR code - this is how the Digital Load Pass for fully secured load units works, which Mosca is presenting at LogiMAT. Product data such as dimensions and comprehensive data on the packaging solution used - such as strapping or wrapping - are stored in the cloud and made available on the load unit via a QR code. "The Digital Load Pass is already being implemented in some industries, such as the textile and battery sectors. We expect it to come to the packaging industry sooner or later - and are already getting our customers ready for it," emphasizes Alex Jesser, Product Manager Marketing at Mosca.
In addition to information on the strapping used, the Digital Load Pass also shows the energy consumption during packaging and the resultingCO2 footprint. For products that have been checked for load securing at the Mosca TechCenter , the report created there is also part of the passport - and thus serves as proof of transport securing. Further information can be added if required, as Alex Jesser explains: "The Digital Load Pass shown at LogiMAT is initially a prototype. At the trade fair, we want to find out which additional data is particularly relevant for the industry and thus tailor the product even better to the needs of our customers."
A cross-section of the broad Mosca
With the machines and strapping solutions also on display at the LogiMAT stand, Mosca will provide visitors with a cross-section of its entire product portfolio - from cost-efficient, semi-automatic solutions and high-performance strapping machines for individual packages or pallets to the ring wrappers from Mosca Movitec. "As a system provider, we at Mosca pursue a holistic approach that covers all requirements at the end of the packaging line and is rounded off by digital solutions, first-class service and comprehensive advice," says Jesser. "Our range at LogiMAT reflects this approach and ensures that there is something of interest for all visitors."
Newcomers to strapping technology and companies with low requirements at the end of the packaging line will find what they are looking for in the RO-M Fusion and the hand-held strapping toolHUG), which will only be launched in 2024: While the HUG , as a semi-automatic handheld device, offers high flexibility and very easy handling for small packaging quantities and increased strap tensions of up to 2,700 N, the automatic RO-M Fusion with closed strap guide frames ensures greater ease of use for strap tensions of up to 450 N.
Solutions for high demands
The SoniXs TR-Connect and the KZV-111 are fully automatic and both work with Mosca's SoniXs ultrasonic unit. The TR-Connect with integrated digital package is a prime example of digital applications: Thanks to the WebHMI integrated as standard, it can be operated using an optional tablet on the machine as well as via mobile devices - including access to important parameters such as performance or strapping settings. With up to 45 strapped packages per minute, the machine is also suitable for tightly synchronized production lines. The TR-Connect can also work with both plastic and paper strapping: The machine with double dispenser on display at LogiMAT is equipped with one roll of PP and one roll of paper strapping. With a recycled content of 30 percent, Mosca's PPStrap also contributes to greater sustainability.
The KZV-111, which will be shown in action at LogiMAT, is suitable for pallets. It straps palletized load carriers in just 12 seconds at the trade fair. There are different versions with strap guide tongue or closed strap frame for different requirements. At the trade fair, the machine will be equipped with Mosca's Strap PET, which is already made from 100% recycled bottle flakes and is fully recyclable. The Strap also impresses with its high strength, elasticity and durability - and can withstand loads of up to 580 kilograms, depending on the width.
Advice on the right individual solution
The Saturn S6 from company subsidiary Movitec, also on display, completes the stand and provides an insight into Mosca's stretch wrapping portfolio. The ring wrapper secures up to 120 pallets per hour with stretch wrapping film, which also protects the products from the weather and dirt. The film can be pre-stretched by up to 300 percent to minimize material consumption.
"It is important to us not only to show visitors to LogiMAT the different solutions we offer for the end of the line, but also to provide them with comprehensive advice," emphasizes Alex Jesser. The demand for paper tape in particular has risen sharply - but this does not provide the necessary stability for all applications. "We find the right solution for our customers by talking to our experts at the trade fair stand."
