The decision has been made: For the second time, Mosca GmbH has chosen its "Young Local Talent" to support young up-and-coming talent. This year's award goes to two exceptionally talented young women: Anett Viktoria Pani, 14, and Lisa Kate Huisman, 11.

Mosca supports young talents from the region for a year with prize money of 800 euros per month. The aim is to support young people in their development and make a contribution to promoting regional talent. Young people up to the age of 25 from Waldbrunn and the surrounding area are eligible to apply.

This year, the decision was particularly difficult. "We received so many great applications from young talents," says Mosca Simone Mosca. "That's why we decided to choose two talents." The prize money will therefore be split: Anett and Lisa will each receive 400 euros per month. The funds are at the free disposal of both talents - for example, to purchase equipment for their respective activities or for further training.

"We are delighted to honor Anett and Lisa as this year's award winners. Their passion, talent and dedication are exemplary. We would like to use the prize money to support them on their future path and give them the opportunity to realize their dreams," says Mosca.

Anett: Aiming high all the way to the Olympics

Anett Viktoria Pani, an up-and-coming canoe racer from Billigheim, has achieved impressive success in recent years: she became Baden-Württemberg champion in 2022; numerous other podium places at regional and national championships underline her great talent. Canoes are long, narrow boats that are usually made of plastic. Unlike kayaks, canoes are open and are traditionally paddled in a kneeling position.

Anett would like to use the prize money to take part in further national and international competitions and qualify for the Olympic Hope Games. In the long term, she dreams of competing at the Olympic Games. "I am over the moon about this award. The prize money will help me to achieve my sporting goals. Thank you so much for your support!" the 14-year-old beams.

Lisa's biggest dream: a concert harp

Lisa Kate Huisman from Neckarbischofsheim impresses with her extraordinary talent on the harp. She has dedicated herself intensively to this instrument for four years and has already won first prize in the "Jugend musiziert" competition. Lisa will use the prize money to fulfill her great wish and purchase a concert harp. This instrument would allow her to explore an even broader musical spectrum. "A concert harp has always been my big dream. I am delighted that I am now one step closer to this goal," says the pupil.
