Technical Training

Our service does not end once the machine has been installed at your site.  We know that proper operation of Mosca strapping machines and systems will significantly extend their service life.  We offer tailored training courses for every machine type and skill level from Operator through to Engineer.

During training, we will teach you how to avoid malfunctions and operational errors.  We will demonstrate how the correct operation ensures the highest possible machine availability. We will show you how to get the best performance to help extend the longevity of your Mosca strapping machinery. We can provide more in depth training for engineers to allow effective trouble shooting and problem solving in a production environment.

Mosca UK Training Academy

Experience tells us the best training occurs away from the distractions of the shop floor.  The Mosca UK Training Academy opened in 2017 at the UK head office in Cotgrave, Nottingham. 

The Mosca UK Training Academy has a classroom area and fully-operational workshop which is home to several pieces of key equipment to ensure your team learn in the most simple and straightforward way.  Our expert trainer's will guide your engineers through in-depth training covering the fundamentals of machine operation and daily/weekly housekeeping, through to more advanced engineer training, covering in-depth dismantling and reassembly of the strapping heads, fault finding, repairs, maintenance and cleaning.  After completing our training course, your engineers will be able to carry out minor repairs to help minimise service call costs. They will also have the knowledge to make full use of your strapping machine's performance potential to help improve productivity at your site.

After successful completion of the course, each participant is awarded with a certificate to validate his or her training.  For Health & Safety reasons, many employers require this training before a machine can be safely operated.  For Mosca's Health & Safety documents please explore our comprehensive Health & Safety page
