Mosca has received the innovation award from the German business magazine 'Focus Money' which examined the reputation of 5000 of the biggest and most influential German companies on social media platforms.
Between January - December 2016 they investigated more than 21 million positive, negative and neutral comments and news items concerning topics like investments, research and development or new technologies.
Mosca leads the way regarding IoT in its industry: a new RFID system enables customers to automate ordering processes for straps. Moreover all class III and higher machines are fitted with a network communication option, allowing them to be used in fully automatic production lines and other applications. Added to this the company's patented SoniXs ultrasonic technology is still unique. It seals the strapping material using ultrasonic waves instead of heat.
Mosca tops the mechanical engineering category with a score of 100, making it a benchmark for other companies in this category. Mosca's CEO Timo Mosca said: "Whether constructing our machinery to be increasingly energy-efficient or boosting networking solutions – we [Mosca] have a clear focus on innovations, both in our everyday operations and our strategic orientation. This award shows that our efforts are received positively both in the industry and on social media. We are very proud of this fact."
