We take ongoing customer care seriously and want to reassure you that we are carefully preparing for Brexit and business after 29th March 2019. We have made changes to how we stock and store strapping consumables and spare parts to ensure continuation of supply.
Understandably, there is some apprehension that there may be delays at ports and with this in mind, we are making plans to help protect our customers against any delays.
The senior management team at Mosca are working closely with colleagues in Germany to anticipate customer needs and build in additional strap production. We already have dual stock locations in the UK that will be maximised and have secured the use of additional warehouse space to provide a third stock location.
We are also looking at our stocks of spare parts and making plans to ensure we have sufficient availability both in the run up to Brexit and in the months following the transition.
From other business perspectives, we are putting higher levels of protection in place for currency requirements to help mitigate the possible effects of a stronger Euro and weaker GB pound.
Mosca has also established a partnership with a legal firm of ‘Brexit experts’ who have written periodic reports both nationally and locally. We are working closely with the team to amend all necessary legal documents relating to sales and purchase contracts to be more in line with Brexit conditions, as well as changes to our general Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Please feel free to bookmark this page and check back for updates as Brexit terms become clearer. If you have any further questions or queries in the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact our team on 0115 989 0209.
