Some steps have already been taken, to deal with potential difficulties in regards to customs controls. For example, on-site storage capacity has been doubled, so that machine and strapping material can be buffered for around six months. Measures like this are intended to ensure uninterrupted supplies to customers - especially when difficulties can arise elsewhere due to the effects of a possible hard Brexit.
