We developed in-line strapping technology to ensure that your corrugated board products reach your customers in the best possible condition.  In-line technology gently straps corrugated board along the wave to prevent strap from damaging the structure of the board.  Sensitive paper products are gently handled because many of our machines allow strap tension to be individually set.  Additional edge protection can added if required.

Hygiene is of paramount importance when strapping food and beverages.  Equipment along the entire process chain must be accessible for quick and easy cleaning.  This is where our patented ultrasonic SoniXs technology comes into play.  Unique in the market, SoniXs is extremely fast and does not require a heating element, thus contributing to stabilising temperature around the vicinity of the machine further aiding in maintaining the strict climate controls required for processing perishable goods.  Instead, the welding is carried out efficiently and with low emissions by ultrasonic vibration.  Some of our machines are made specifically for use in the food industry out of non-corrosive steel and can be cleaned with a powerful water jet without causing any rusting.  We know how important the hygiene processes are in this area,  our machines will deliver consistently high quality and reliability for your food and beverage strapping requirements.

Printed stock often needs to be compressed before strapping otherwise there is the potential for air to  escape during transportation resulting in strapping becoming loose.  Our machines can easily handle this problem. Depending on the model, accurate compression and strapping are combined and carried out automatically in a single operation, without needing to turn the product.  In industries with a high throughput it is an enormous advantage to have access to Mosca's quick and reliable technology.
