Christmas party with honors of long-term employees

MOSCA celebrated the successful year 2016 on their Christmas party with its employees on 22th December in style of a Christmas market with mulled wine, gingerbread and curling. 10 employees got honored for 25 years company anniversaries: Franco Guida (assembly plants), Siegfried Schölch (logistics), Michael Zimmermann (sales), Jürgen Kaiser (assembly plants), Gregorio Salerno (assembly plants), Bernd Heisner (assembly machines), Karl Nied (technical service), Bernhard Heck (assembly plants), Manfred Thieme (assembly plants), Stefani Finzer (sales). Furthermore 22 new employees and 13 trainees and students joined the company in 2016.

The company reflects the successful and eventful year:

  • “50 years MOSCA” was the motto of the company in 2016. Founded in 1966, the original two-men-company MOSCA GmbH today ranks among the world market leaders in the strapping technology featuring a turnover of 145.000.000 Mio. € and 1,900 produced machines.

  • On 24th July 2016 MOSCA celebrated this anniversary on their "Family Day" together with 8.000 visitors.

  • Mosca even got two awards in the two relevant competitions "100 Companies for Resource Efficiency" and “100 Places for Industry 4.0”.

  • Since 2011 MOSCA has supported the relief project of World Vision e.V. in Burundi, East Africa with the aim of improving the education of the children there.

According to KfW, the German medium-sized companies are looking as positive into the future as they did five years ago: 28 of 48 interviewed associations of the Institutes of German Economy expect successful businesses in the next year. Also MOSCA has positive expectations for 2017 and will be represented with its state-of-the-art strapping technology on numerous exhibitions like LogiMAT in Stuttgart, SINO CORRUGATED in Singapor and Interpack in Dusseldorf.
